About Croixsippi
Croixsippi guide service covers the St. Croix and Mississippi River waters from Stillwater, Minnesota down south to the Mississippi River town of Red Wing, Minnesota. Along this stretch the two rivers can be both secluded and wild, or built up with historic river towns and residences. The St. Croix River harbors eagles, herons, wild birds, white tail deer, wild turkey, and is registered as a National Scenic Riverway. The Mississippi River is dotted with maple tree covered sand islands, and home to many bald eagles, its bluffs hold trophy whitetail deer and in parts is more remote than you may have imagined.

The majority of the late spring, summer and fall guide trips are held on the St. Croix River, while winter and early spring trips take place near Red Wing, Minnesota on the Mississippi River. The Croix harbors good numbers of eating size walleye and saugers plus big eight pound walleye, state record size sturgeon, hard fighting smallmouth bass, and huge muskie. Parts of the Mississippi seldom freeze in the winter, allowing year round fishing to anglers. The Mississippi River is without a doubt a world-class walleye and sauger fishery, with huge 10 pound plus walleye caught in the late winter and early spring. Wintertime open water angling can be fantastic where 50- 100 fish days are very possible, we typically fish when the day time high will be 30 degrees or higher this light tackle fishing is very memorable!
